Built to serve the 46th world Bank and International Monetary Fund Meeting during October 1-15, 1991, Queen Sirikit National convention center was named after HM the Queen with its grand opening presided over by Their Majesties on August 29, 1991.
The Center is made up of Zone A,B,C, and D, the surrounding of which is decorated with arts and crafts from all regions of Thailand.
